Most of the places you’ll be visiting in Florence you’ll want to see during the daytime. However, if you visit Florence in the summer, it’s important to realize that it gets very hot there. You’ll want to begin your touring early in the day to avoid the hottest parts of the day. Make efficient use of your time. Most places open early so it’s important to get an early start in the day. Some of the places you’ll be visiting are outdoor places whereas others are for indoors. Try to plan this around the time of day as well. You don’t want to be standing outside for hours during the hottest time of day.

While you’re in visiting Florence, you’ll spend a lot of time sightseeing and trying to soak up the culture. You will want to do more things, however. Everyone raves about the Italian food, so you’ll be checking out many of the local restaurants. Many touring companies cater to the tourists. Some offer walking tours, others offer bus tours while others offer bicycle tours. You’ll want to check out each of these tours to see if they appeal to you.
